Silicone Rubber is an elastomeric plastic which is substance consisting of Si (silicon), O (oxygen), C (carbon), and H (hydrogen). Silicone Rubber is an inorganic artificial elastomers made from a cross linked silicon-based plastic strengthened with filler. It provides a unique mixture of chemical substance and technical qualities natural elastomers cannot coordinate.
The most widely used silicone rubber in companies is Polydimethylsiloxane which is consisting of a central source of Si (silicon) and O (oxygen) elements with CH3 methyl categories.
These qualities make Silicone Rubber the material of choice for applications varying from bake ware to turbo charger hoses.
